Buying three camera bodies at $2500 each because the vendor does not service
them quickly enough to allow one to get by with one body, and doing this simply
because one likes these bodies (as opposed to bodies built by vendors that can
service them quickly), is a very poor business decision indeed.  Professionals
cannot afford to indulge their fancies in this way, although amateurs can.

If you don't have the capital, you cannot buy redundant equipment.  There is no
alternative.
