Stephen Johnson has some wonderful panoramics that *were* done in
large format (via a Dicomed digital back).  He also hangs them on the
inside of a cylinder, about 12 ft across.  Beautiful work.  If you're
ever down in Pacifica, CA (south of San Francisco on Route 1) you
should stop by his studio and experience them in person.  If not,
