I think the black lens sell better because:

1) they look "appropriate" on either the chrome or black M6 bodies, and
2) typically, the black lens weigh less than the chrome lens.

I intend to eventually have at least a chrome 35/1.4 ASPH for my chrome M6
classic simply because it looks great. :-)  Right now I have a black 35/2.0
lens.

I don't know if I will buy another chrome body though.  The M6 is great as a
discrete camera, and black is more discrete than chrome.
