There is currently an exhibition at the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson of the works of Garry Winogrand, and there will be a symposium concerning his work the weekend of November 9.

I will be in Tucson that weekend and plan on trying to get to the symposium. It is free to the public, but requires registration.

Anyone else going?

I have never seen a Winogrand print, except on the Internet, but a look at the following sites will have you very interested.

What I gather is that he used Leica Ms and Tri-X. Sort of quirky; he left 2500 undeveloped rolls at his death.

Anyway, this is a refreshing change, and he is a true Leica photographer.

Anyone else have thoughts, comments?
