Geeze oh man,  Walt.....I guess I will respond.....

I spend (almost) as much time in France as the US, my wife and daughters are
French and American citizens....the French are generally more gracious and
discreet than we are.

***I won't go back to the original thread...I will spare you....(archives if
you want a laugh)......

Europeans don't hate Americans in spite of our sometimes boorishness....as
evidenced by your comments above.

For Pete's sake Walt stick to something you know about, instead of the
misplaced projections of your own misconceptions.
