The price is high by US standards, you are paying for the extremely good
condition which will cause you to not use the lens for fear of scratching
the finish..  I think that optically you would be better served by either
the cheaper Elmarit or the APO Summicron.  The former is much less expensive
and some say sharper, the latter is very much better optically.  Esthetics
is another path; the older Leitz lenses are mechanical works of art and have
caused me to spend money on lenses that duplicated duplications.
