OK.  Silly question.  If the cable for Nikon (or I think I saw  Contax in an
earlier post) cable will work, will a Nikon flash work as well?  Or is it
just a stroke of luck that the pins match up w/o the functions matching.
Could the cable be modified so that the pins AND functions match up somehow?
