Almost everyone has stopped to look at a beautiful machine and dreamed of owning/using said machine. I do think the image would be stronger by bringing the subject closer in, either by getting closer or using a wider lens and getting closer. In a quiet way a powerful image. Your images still have a dreamlike feel to them. Someone else said it looks like you used a glow filter, I think it looks a little like a black diffuser during printing with the shadows "glowing".
