Geez, don't get a Leica strap -- those things are junk.  Get something a bit
more robust and with a bit more grip.  I like Domke "grippers" for my M's
and I'm sure you'll hear plenty of other suggestions.  One nice thing about
the Domke is that it has sturdy, well-made clasps that are easy to detach
but definitely secure.
