While security was tighter, I had no problem hand carrying my Domke 803 satchel with 1 or 2 Leica M6TTL cameras, 2 or 3 lenses and an SF20 flash. The satchel was opened and searched a couple times and checked for explosives once. I also hand carried a laptop computer with me and had to take it out of the case to go through the Xray machine. Once I had to rum my shoes through the Xray machine. Go ahead and take you Leicas. Don't even consider checking them!
