Subject: [Leica] re: the Texas M2

Hi:

I was cleaning out a huge number of old email messages and there were some
inquiries from the LUG and RF list members about the Fuji "Texas M2" that I
never got around to answering. I just completed a web page on it that
should provide enough material to understand it. I put in some pictures
this time so that the scale would be apparent (I even included a real
Leica).

I think this item may be of interest to Leicaphiles and 6x9 fans, because it
so closely resembles pocketable Ms in function while scoring a huge neg. The
interchangeable lenses are fun, too.

PS: I am filling in my "blue items," and if any topic looks like it would be
of more interest than others, let me know and I will do those first. My
goal is to fill it all in by the end of the year. I am trying to
concentrate on items that don't have a lot of web discussion first ‹ so the
discussion of the three faces of TMX will have to wait until the end.
