Sometimes the camera that works best for you
...getting you the best shots is a "user beater" that got past down to you or
given to you or for chump change.

You are not worried about having it with you all day, keeping it in a case or UV
'd from the front. It's allready got so many dings on it a few more is not
going to affect it.
... a great picture taking tool. You don't even worry so much about some rain
and sand.
You like the camera so much you deside:
"wouldn't it be fun to have a new one?!"
so you get a new one and you are afraid to bring it outside.
It's wrapped up in a neverready case within a neverready bag.
How many of your great shots are you going to get with this body compared to
your friendly beater?
If you are lucky you'll get ANYTHING with it.
Its a curse.
The best thing you can do with it is lend it to your kid of a couple of weeks.
Definitely break it in.
Have it cla'd which is just like having your shoes resoleed.
THEN you've got yourself a camera that you can use!!!!!!. That's how i see it.

Bubble Bubble Toil and Trouble!
"Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake:
eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
for a charm of pow'rful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."
