Buy a US Passport model with the 3 year warranty. Pay an additional $125 for an extra 2 years ( now you are up to 5 years). Send it in every year for adjustment and calibration, for free. At the end of 5 years, sell the camera and buy another! You will be ahead of the $$$ game....by a lot!
