This will probably be considered "thread drift" but a NON-photo 
magazine worth looking at is Dazed and Confused. It's from Britain 
and has some very interesting, edgy photography. They usually mix in 
some photo-reportage also. It's been around for a while but is worth 
a look if you want to see the latest in contemporary and edgy 
photography.
Further thread drift, but I just picked up the Magnum book on 9/11 
and it's really good. It's mostly color and mostly straight stuff. 
They consciously edited out the "arty-Magnum-style" pictures. They 
didn't put it that way, but you get the drift.
Okay--I've used "drift" three times.
