Subject: [Leica] FS: Konica Hexar Silver (silent modified)

(It's Friday afternoon here in Australia, so...)

For Sale: 4 month old Konica Hexar Silver, which has been
silent mode + autobracketing modified (NB. it is impossible
to have this done in the US!)

The silent mode makes this camera the quietest 35mm
production camera available (way quieter than any Leica
M!). So the camera is ideal for times when you _have_
to be silent.

It has a non-interchangeable Hexanaon 35mm f2 lens which
I've found to be pretty good - apparently its design
"borrowed" a lot from the old 35mm pre-ASPH Summicron.

One small scratch on the base-plate. Usual scuff marks
on the sides from a few months of use. Comes with lens
cap(s) and all doco etc.

$US 425.00 (plus insured airmail shipping from Australia)

Reason for selling - I have tried and tried and tried, but
I'm just not enough of a 35mm lens-guy to keep both the
Hexar Silver and 35mm M Summicron ASPH.
