Easy, guys. I have two Canon 50/1.2 lenses, and they are NOT optically
better than the Noctilux. That said, it is nice to shoot faces wide open
and not see all of the blackheads on their noses and the aberrant flecks
of mascara that drifted from their eyelashes. It is a nice, soft
portrait lens wide open, and a nice (albeit) outdoors lens stopped down.
But there is only ONE Noctilux. And I don't have one.

I think I just heard a good dozend LUG members, in unison across the
world, scream out in terror and disbelief as they fell out of their
chairs.
