Brent..... I shoot wide open.....   Most of the 35/50
Summicron/Noctilux/Summilux Bokeh is done at F4...... therefore my
comment.....

I never said the lens was without the sharpness that we expect with Leica
glass... only that, at wide open apertures, the F4 3E is no better ( nor
worse) than a fixed FL lens, at that aperture.

I like the 90 AA, 35/2 ASPH and the 35/1.4 ASPH... WIde open there is hardly
a lens to compare to the sharpness and clarity of the image.  But I find
them "technical" rather than "aesthetic" lenses.....  My 35/2 Mr Bokeh lens
or the 75/1.4, is just in a different class, bokeh wise.....  Nothing I have
found compares.... Note that I am still evaluating the 50./1.4.... which
should be comparable to Mr. Bokeh.
