Ted, 

Your logic is beyond reproach.  Another example would
be a weightlifter.  They just don't say one day "I'm
going to lift 500lbs over my head".  They work up to
it.  So I think, B.D. should start lifting weights,
then one day the Noct will feel like a Summicron.
