I don't know how it supposed to look either :) I just make the comments on contrast over/under exposure in general. Most of the time I suspect getting a web image to look like the print would isn't done 1/2 the time. I'm not saying that you are not. But most images posted on the web fall short for reasons of scanning & PS adjusting.
