I think I have everything figured out on the camera now. I am not sure about the exposure "memory" lock in spot mode. I think it is activated by taking a reading, holding down the shutter button halfway, and reframing. At least when I try that, forcing a slow shutter speed, and then focussing on something brighter, the slow speed seems to be what goes. Am I correct in my assumption?
