There are no SLR's that are vibration free. Leica's are as bad as the rest.

The reason for using a tripod is because one cannot hand hold a camera at 
slow shutter speeds and achieve the sharpness achievable via tripod use. 
But even with tripod use, there are factors to be figured in. The most 
important of which is, what is the ultimate disposition of the photographs 
you are taking. Happy Snap album, web, 8x10's, 20x24's, murals...
