I mix up the 5 liters and put it into full brown glass 1-quart bottles.  It
seems to last at least a year unopened.  Another choice is to use the
strength of your physical location near the California Box-Wine Country and
to simply use one of the 5-liter bags in the wine boxes.  Wash it out
carefully, allow it to dry completely, and, voila!, you have a handy,
no-air-at-all method for preserving the XTOL for quite a few months.
