The Thambar lens is overrated and overpriced for the kind of effect that
one can get by either:
1. applying a sparingly amount of nose grease on the front element or
filter of my 90/2 Summicron (pre-apo/asph of course!) and shooting wide open.
2. using my 35/1.4 summilux-M (pre-asph again of course!!) at f1.4 and
cropping the relevant portion of the final image to match the perspective
of the 90mm focal length.
