This was very fertile ground for photography. The first selection is two young ladies dressed for the frozen north eating a pleasant lunch(school of course was canceled due to snow). Even though they were in a pleasantly warm deli you would think they were cold. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=508473 The second selection is a delivery person making his second delivery of the day. It seems in blizzard conditions you must stock up on bread as the food supply might run out and the family would starve if you didn't have four or five loaves of bread in the house. This shot is when he first notices that I am taking his picture. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=508477 The third selection is after he has run one cart of bread in and he was explaining to me that by Friday he would not have any deliveries to make because everyone had enough bread to build a swimming pool float. It seems even in blizzard conditions people get to work and someone needs their services. I enjoyed these two and their good humor as I took their picture. I'm posting it because I shot it with the last version of the 90 Elmarit at 2.8.
