I think this image could use some tighter cropping to emphasize the tree and its
shadow.

On this one I would tilt the camera slightly downwards to get more of the
repeating streetlights into the frame (I agree with you that they add a lot to
the image), even at the cost of cutting off the top of the building.

Incidentally, the quality of your scans is impeccable.
