Hello everyone

Thanks for the Constructive critic on the week 2 shot !!!!!!

I was trying to be a bit ARTY !!! on the focus bit, trying to convey the importance of my daughters teddy bear to her, thus given the bear the spotlight .

Background to week 3

Leica M6TTL 35 ASHP film TMAX 400

This shot was taken a 100m from the spot the police opened fire on the demonstrators attending the EU summit with Mr bush, in the summer here in Gothenburg.

The police were very tense after this, and stopped anybody who look remotely like an activist, in this case it was a local dad out with his daughter (word had got out that the militant activists were going to take revenge for the shooting of the 3 demonstrators) you could feel the tension over the whole city.

I know most of you are going to say their too much going on in the shot, but I think it tells a story and the goings on are pretty tight in respect of the feeling on the faces of the bystanders and policemen covering his unit, also the look of rage on the girl and the finger pointing from the father.the guy with the compact & two bananas & the boy, necking out,

As a point of interest the only People that commented on my leicas were the Press guys, (Good gear there Guv) other bystanders thought I was using some strange museum piece, the press guys seemed to use the Contax G2 & 3 for their private compact kit.

I am still struggling on the Neg. scanner but with this PAW i should by the end of the Year get it sorted.

And on too something that seems to baffle a lot of us and thats bags, camera bags are like women you spend a lot of time changing them !!!!!

But eureka I think i have found the bag of bags.

it is the ORTLEIB ZIPCITY MESSENGER BAG,
itīs waterproof & tough as nails & the right size to accommodate the Billingham Hadley insert, which in my case holds two M6 bodies a 35 Sum 50 nocti and a 21 Elm with finder + a blower and film without problems. it wears very tight and i thoroughly recommend checking it out.

Ok its time to sharpen your teeth and check out PAW 3 http://www.leica-gallery.net/city-street/image-23747.html

Regards to all

 Paul
