The lens heads just screw off. If they haven't ever been removed than it 
may be difficult to first unscrew them. I'm no expert but I think that the 
heads are removable on all of them. The one on my recently acquired one 
(thanks Sonny) unscrewed, although it tool a bit of force to do it.
