Nope, Ernie, it's obviously corporate not local. Same thing with Borders -
I, too, have noticed that they have a much better photo selection than B&N.
Oddly enough, my local independent bookstore, Brookline Booksmith, has a
really terrific photo section - always adding new books, many of which are
far from the main stream.

B.D. - I thought it was just my B and N.  The employees at the B/N are
generally more knowledgeable than at Borders but Borders has a REAL photo
section and stocks several uncommon photo magazines like SHOTS.

Boy that figures - Take a look at the photo book section in most B&Ns -
basically nothing but how-to crap and cutesy collections on photos on safe
subjects.

You can judge a bookstore by its covers. ;-)
