I agree the one of the kids is the weakest but I liked the expression on the
faces of the two kids with the drums - maybe it would have been better if
the one on the left was showing more of his face.

The demo - I wanted the smoke, this was what I was trying to capture - I
liked the idea that you could still see the crowd and read their banner. The
guy with the flare was maybe 2 or 3 feet away - again deliberate, I wanted
to get in as close as I could with the 21mm lens.

Hi Steve,

The main pic is a little masterpiece. You have set a very high standard with
these last few weeks' PAWs. The picture of the kids is not quite up to that
standard. It is good, but just not as good as what you usually produce. The
demo
is a good shot again, although I would prefer a little less smoke so that
the
main body of the demo were more visible.
