I cannot find a reference in ANY of my catalogues to the Leicavit in any of
its forms, Frank, though this was after an admittedly VERY hasty scan.  The
'66 catalog does list the Leica Motor, however.

I suspect the Leicavit was always a special-order item.  Charlie Barringer
owns a slew of dealer Leitz literature.  If I could get him to dig through
it, we'd probably find a copy of the annual letter on the Leicavit!
