john, the problem is the amount of variance and play. you can micro focus
either way and the light stays on where as you can clearly tell the diff in
the viewfinder if you have a split image focusing screen.

The RX conformation is useless but thatıs a bad comparison. I have a hard
time believing you cant get it to work well on an f5. Back in the F4 days it
worked very well and pretty quick...
