See Laney's LEICA COLLECTORS GUIDE for discussion.  Early Bellows I had one
thread-mount, later Bellows I and all Bellows II another, though, frankly,
the specifics escape me, and Laney is too much the gentleman to give us
these details.  I believe the change was caused by a change in the
Focoslide or some other similar mechanism -- maybe the Aristophot? -- but,
again, my notes on this are buried yea, verily, as is the Titanic.

If there is sufficient interest, I can dig up the details but I had come to
believe that this was now the Cosina/R8 forum.  Am I in the wrong church?
