There's a quiet pleasure in this composition - the selection of the focal plane
to reveal the wood pattern most sharply just this side of the salt-shaker makes
for a very pleasant softening of the image a it receeds. The light off the top
of the shakes, and that wonderful little bar about half-way down as the light
spreads through the glass is very nice.

Ah the joys in simplicity.
