Right again, Bryan but with valuables like Leicas, to cover adequately 
against fire and theft one should schedule each item with a reasonable value.

Not really since the Passport insures against malfunction and damage caused 
by whatever means, provided, as you pointed out, you return the camera/lens 
with enough physical identification (serial number) to prove the damaged item 
is in fact covered.
