Can't give you a $, but the images I've seen with the 40mm on the 
minilux are supersharp, contrasty and truely "leica-like". I've met 
several users, all of whom "lost" their M6 when they started using 
the minilux. Only "problem" is the fixed focal length, but in some 
ways, its a strength
