While at my local camera shop the Saturday past, 
I overheard something to the effect that one of the 
more prominent Leica dealers in the NYC area 
bought out Leica NA's remaining supply of R6.2 
camera bodies.  Approximately 300 total.

If that is the case, you can expect the asking price 
to rise significantly. :(
