Thanks for the advice Nathan.  I should have had a longer lens - getting 
close to those cows always ruins my shot - I don't like their backsides 
that much, and they are pretty skittish.  Maybe I can achieve the same 
benefits with some cropping though, and I'll make it a point to keep the 
90 in my pocket more often too!
