The beeping indicates that the camera is set for
double exposure when the rewind button is pushed in. 
If it isn't but it beeps anyway the beeper switch in 
the winder must be stuck in the closed position. Take 
it apart and check the switch. You could also cut the ground
wire to the beeper.
