I've been using the new motor since late January. As some may know I also
use an MP and the Canon rangefinder equivalent. For stealth you can not
beat the motor, frame from the hip, shoot and walk away. It is quiet enough
that in any ambient sound environment it is not heard, yet it is immediately
ready for the follow up. This is great stuff in the M world.

I find the lever wind useful in more studied situations as the motion to
wind doesn't matter. And last, for left eye dominants, either keeps the
camera at the eye for continuous framing.

Dollar wise, the Rapidwinder is less expensive, and it doesn't require
batteries to function.

I know I will belly up to the bar for a winder for a IIIF. As it is now, I
use the motor unless I'm screwmounting.
