I guess I need recalibration..:) One of my problems with scanning slides is that I see how the slides look and then can never get a scan to do justice to the original. I suppose my scanner does injustice to the negatives too, but the result is usually more pleasing to look at than the negatives. Thanks for the tactful response to my flippant post.
