Terry......
The Aquarium is a fun place to shoot... lots of kids, adults, etc....all
exhausted...... and behaving, misbehaving. or just being people. Color
Temp is funny in there... I would not want to guess what the color
correction might be..... But B+W sure works...... Composition is a bit of a
problem in the tanks... I guessin the building structure... pseudo
architecture.... There is some lovely stuff going on with light and
lines.... quite nice.... Don;t know about the tripods... nor about flash...
but it may be allowed,,,,

If there is time, in June, just beore the kids get out of school, let's
go... it is close to where I live.... and the docks, boats, etc. are
reasonably close...If you get the real thrill, shoot the Queen.... I have
been chased off 2 times.....pre 9/11..... the guards are a bit whacked out
on power, but sometimes they can be nice.... just shoot fast!

The LA LUG can be organized for this too.... I will propose it.....

the other topic to try out is a portrait shoot.... get us all together, pair
off, and spend time shooting teach other for portraits....Lighting and
angular direction for portraits? I don;t know much.... you may get elected
to give a lecture to start things off!

I had not heard about the lens cleaning necessity..... but as my
grandmother used to say... Kids is kids......
