Since it was not my own camera I was not as familiar with it as I needed to be. (It was a Hasselblad). Yeha, I did the same thing. Got there, set up all my lights, got out the tripod, loaded the (rented) Hassie, and when I went to put it on the tripod, it had a DIN tripod thread.
