Subject: [Leica] 75mm Summilux and B&W

This week I shot a bit of Tmax 400 through my M6 TTL .85 using the 75mm
Summilux to confirm it focuses accurately. I am on the way to Paris this
coming weekend and wanted to give the camera a trial before heading out.

I forgot how stunning the images from the 75mm Summilux were. I have never
shot B&W with it and was very pleased with the results. The bottom three
pictures of the page below were shot with it. One picture is of Gordon in
our kitchen. We were just on the way out for breakfast at a coffee shop
and when I saw Gordon on the black and white tile I knew I needed to take a
picture. The other two pictures are of Pam, my Wife's friend, at the
coffee shop. She was half in the sun and half out. The lens did a great
job on the highlights. You can count the hairs on her face.
