Subject: [Leica] Strangers Gallery

I am really uncomfortable with the strangers project that you know who in
Philadelphia set me but just when I am on the verge of packing it in,
another one crops up. I was wandering around the standing stones in Avebury
and this fellow was viewing us tourists in much the same way as we were
viewing the stones. His name is "Badger" and he has opted for an alternative
life style. He sleeps in a tent all year round, doesn't feel the cold
because "I have two dogs" and for a source of income he makes chain mail
jewellery. As you can see from the photograph it keeps him in cider and
tobacco and he seemed to have the kind of contentment that I can only dream
about. He was a joy to talk to and I wish I had his nerve. He can be found
