B.D., I'm a nitpicker and having done business with Rich for several years, I 
have found the same thing. A camera or lens that to my eye - and it is not an 
inexperienced eye - was so close to true mint that I might have leaned that 
way, Rich says mint minus. He said: "I'd much rather have my customer happily 
surprised (as you have been ) than disappointed and unhappy." It persuaded me 
to grade even more superconservatively than I had been.
