Try buying the good glass from the other manufacturers, then see how long it lasts in hard use. I remember a photographer in Bosnia that Canon supported for a while. He was on his third or fourth 80-200 2.8. Price a Leaf back. Price a Linhof. Price a set of studio power packs with stands and modifiers. Price the cost of keeping a digital studio current.
