You have captured this rural scene very well as a "landscape".

As someone who grew up across the Missouri in Eastern Nebraska the sight of
windmills is a very familiar one.  On a personal level, I would prefer to
see a vertical of one of the new generators with an outbuilding as a parody
old or a  restatement of the modern rural farm.

As an aside, if you are traveling that way again when the turbines are
turning, a long shutter speed would make an interesting re-statement.
