Housekeeping: How to amaze your friends and fellow leica-users

If you need to know something, search the archives first and impress
everyone with your new found knowledge and cleverness. The easy to use
search site is located at:

http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/

Leica FAQs are available at:

http://teachnet.edb.utexas.edu/~leica/

http://nemeng.com/leica/

http://www.lhsa.org/

These sites also contains links to purveyors of fine new and used Leica
equipment, repair resources and sites with Leica information.

To receive a complete list of all published digests available:

Send a message to:

majordomo@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us

with no subject line and the following message:

index leica-users-digest
- - ---------------------
- - ---------------------
To receive a particular digest:

Send a message to:

majordomo@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us

with no subject line and the following message:

get leica-users-digest vXX.nXXX
- - ---------------------
- - ---------------------
Please note that the volume always has two digits and the number always
has
three. For example to get digest volume 18, number 3 you send the
following
body text:

get leica-users-digest v18.n003

Periodically the back issues are moved into folders. Thus v12.n003 is in
     v12/v12.n003
and not just
     v12.n003

Request the index so you can properly request earlier digests
