Hello,

Well I do not have the 50/2.8 Elmar collapsible, but the first leica lens
that I owned was a collapsible 50/2 Summicron in M mount. And I used it
with a M2. That was a great combination. Both were well used, but with a
few dollars spent on a clean, lube, and adjust, I had a lot of fun. In
those days I used a lot of Ektachrome slide film, and if my memory is right
I shot at f 5.6 outdoors most of the time. The most important tip I can give
anyone, is to make sure their equipment is in good working condition..

Alex
