We think this is an excellent idea! Date would be Sunday 26 May. If at least 10 people are able to participate, we could hire a boat and make a photo excursion on the canals in Amsterdam. (maximum is 15 people) This is surely something special as it gives another perspective on the city. Here is an image of such a boat, to give you an idea: http://www.leicapages.com/amsterdam.jpg The plan is to start not too early on that Sunday morning, like 11.00 hours, have breakfast, go on the boat for 2.5-3 hours, then walk through Amsterdam, leisurely and not avoiding the terraces, then end with an early evening meal, so those that like to join for dinner, but have a longer trip home, can still drive during daylight. Several Belgian and Dutch Leica users have already expressed an interest, but we are looking for more people.
